Future Plans
After a dazzling 2007, the aim of 2008 will be to consolidate on the success and achieve better results and to climb higher up the team selection order. 2008 is an important year for British Eventing with the Olympic Games in August.
- Jo currently trains with Lucinda Fredericks who herself has achieved success at the highest levels winning both Badminton and Burghley. Dressage training takes place with Virginia Peters who was a former dressage team member and show-jumping takes place with Alison Brown who teaches numerous pupils to four star level.
- The plan will be for early runs in the season with the main focus of the year being Badminton. If Jo achieves an excellent performance it is hoped that this will push her to the forefront of the selectors minds for when they make the decision on the final five that go to Beijing.
- Jo is currently bringing on several young horses ready to eventually take over the mantle of Faere Vision. Now Jo has tasted success at the top of the sport only hard work and dedication will continue to make sure she stays there.
- Within the local community Jo will continue teaching, working with both children and adults of all ages. Jo is heavily involved in the local riding club which has over 210 members and is currently their training officer fitting in this position around her eventing. Jo is also involved in teaching Pony Clubs across the region teaching all abilities.
